The songbook Tia-ia-ó has been compiled in response to the demands of numerous monitors of youth groups and clubs with whom we have worked in the training courses organised by the Escola El Sol and the Fundació Garriga de Mata in Saifores.
These songs are a valuable tool for monitors who need catchy, easy-to-remember and original songs, which help to create bonds between the children who join youth groups and clubs and which help instil a spirit of vitality, innocence and playfulness in an atmosphere of leisure and fun.
The selection includes 25 simple and fun songs, games, and folk and popular dances, many of which were published in the delightful songbooks of the Esplai collection from the 1960s to the 1980s.
