Contents

This treaty consists of 13 lessons (1 for one voice, 10 for two voices, 2 for three voices and a last one for two voices). All of them include a harmonic, rhythmical and formal analysis. At first, one can see the harmonic analysis with a figured bass (traditional baroque bass), the modulations it includes and some outstanding or odd harmonic aspects. After that, a schematic formal bar by bar analysis is complemented with a rhythmical analysis. At the end of the book, one can find the lessons strictly speaking, appearing in a very compressed version and with the same number as the analysis, with American figure notation. All lessons are plucked in margin notes in order to be separable and usable as a guide to help understand the analysis. I hope them to be useful during harmony, analysis and composition foundations lessons.
