Literatura i música a l'Edat Mitjana: lírica

Contents
Ours is an interdisciplinary approach aimed at finding out about the musical and textual mechanisms that lend unity and dynamism to the courtly lyrical monody. Consequently, we will give preference to the melodic aspect, the musical-composition aspect, though paying attention to the poetic aspect as well, both in its lexico-syntactic facet and its literary facet. That is why we begin our study with the basics of intertextual and intermelodic techniques with a view to getting the reader and the audience to understand that these works are charged with conscious connotational registers that turn the monodic work into a polyphony of meanings. This epistemological-style beginning leads into the formal studies, both of Occitan troubadour songs and of the Marian works of King Alfonso's time. Both repertories are metapoetic in architecture and in intention, a compilation of formal and poetic elements from previous works, making them models for imitation.Summary of the author's presentation
