We decided it was essential to make a video recording of all the songs in Catalan to allow the listener to follow the sheet music and song on the screen and to enable these compositions to be heard and enjoyed around the world. Various members of the Bonet family have participated, lending their voice to these poetic readings. We have grouped the pieces into different cycles following the organization Narcís Bonet himself used.

Vistes al mar (Views of the Sea). Based on poems by Joan Maragall (1860-1911)
This is the first of the four cycles Narcís Bonet wrote for poems by Joan Maragall, which he composed between the ages of thirteen and fifteen years old. In 1946 the family went for the first time to their summer house built by the father Lluís Bonet, an architect, in Llucalcari on the island of Mallorca. An ideal place for contemplating the sea. This cycle of songs seems to describe the landscape surrounding their home.
The finished cycle was presented at the Palau de la Música Catalana (the prestigious Catalan concert hall in Barcelona) on 12 June 1948 with Montserrat Salvadó singing and Narcís Bonet at the piano.
