(Rhythm games 1)This first volume of the collection provides explanations on the games based on music, motor skills, rhythms and speech.
Many of the games covered belong to the wide repertoire of games from our traditional children´s heritage, while others are based on exercises arranged in the rhythm classes at the Institut Joan Llongueres.
For a number of reasons set out in the book, we believe that games should be closely bound up with teaching activities for children. Children create an imaginative atmosphere in games and become so immersed in it that they find it difficult to get back out and to distinguish the real from the imagined.
