The aim of this book is to show you what a 5-string banjo is, to explain to you something about its history and, first and foremost, to show you how to play it in a basic and simply comprehendible way in bluegrass and frailing styles. Toni shall lead you through this learning by means of exercises and themes that will progressively familiarize you with the technique of this instrument. The banjo has given us many pleasant moments. We feel it to be an instrument, which is very close to nature and folk music, especially to the North American and Irish, as well as to Dixieland folk music, and suitable for singing with the family.
