ENTERTAINMENT TROUGH SONGS. BASIS, TECHNIQUES AND RESOURCES
I always thought that the fact that a society sings was quite an indicative exponent of the level of communication of that society. I mean: whenever I go to Greece or the Basque Country and see those pubs full of people of all ages singing 'and dancing!' for hours, without being afraid to show their feelings 'they sing, dance, laugh, cry'', whenever I see that, I get so envious!
Our present Catalan society every time sings less. And I feel really sorry about that. Therefore, when I see somebody toiling to offer some songs to be sung by people, with some previous observations about the basis of song and some techniques in order to make it all easier, whenever I see that, I get a little warm in my heart. (')
