Rhythm in the General Education and Training of Children
In his book 'Rhythm', Joan Llongueres helps us to become acquainted with the Jaques-Dalcroze Musical-Rhythm method and with its creator, Émile Jaques-Dalcroze.
He introduces us to E. Jaques-Dalcroze as a person, a musician and a teacher.
He also shows us Rhythm in all its educational fields: in music, in movement, in psycho-motor skills, in re-education and in music-therapy.
Joan Llongueres felt that working on music in general-education schools was very necessary and important, and he explains this to us and offers us a body of exercises for working with children at different levels.
