She was born in Sant Vicenç de Castellet (Barcelona) and studied at the Barcelona music school Conservatori Superior Municipal de Música de Barcelona. She engaged in further studies at various international courses in Spain and France, while at the same time winning various awards in piano and chamber-music competitions.
She devotes herself to chamber music, solo piano recitals, piano duos with Joan Josep Gutiérrez, appearances with orchestras, recordings, piano courses, guided listening, and interdisciplinary projects (Nou dels'90, Desconcerto Grosso, El Sonet en la Música, etc.)
She has released three CDs: Danses romàntiques, for piano-four-hands, with Joan Josep Gutiérrez (Ars Harmònica/La Mà de Guido, 1997); Miniatures 1, for piano, featuring works by Tchaikowsky, Khachaturian and Kabalevsky (A Sense of Music, 1997); Miniatures 4, for solo piano and piano with percussion (with Pilar Subirà and Jordi Gardeñas), combining the modern piano with a historical pianoforte from the Barcelona Music Museum, and featuring works by Muzio Clementi (A Sense of Music, 1999).
She has been taking part in the show El Secret de la Castanyola since 1999, with José de Udaeta and Belén Cabanes, with prominent performances in opera houses and theatres in Germany, such as: Würth Museum, Ludwigsburg Festivals, Aalto Opera in Essen, the Berlin Opera Staatsoper Unter den Linden, and the Stuttgart Opera Staatstheater. She has also performed in the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, in the Expo 2000 in Hannover, in the Teatro Libero in Palermo, in the Sociedad Filarmónica de Bilbao and in the Palau de la Música in València, among others.
She has also appeared, solo or in a duo, in the Festival de Sant Cugat (1992), Festival de Teatre de Sitges (1993), Caja de Madrid (1994, 96 i 98), Barcelona's Festival de Música del segle XX at the Mercat de les Flors (1994), the Ateneu Barcelonès (1995), the Barcelona summer festivals GREC'95 and GREC'96, Madrid's Fundación Juan March (1996 and 1999), the Spring Concerts at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1997), the Jornadas Musicales-EPTA (Madrid, 1998), the Conciertos de Otoño (Canary Islands, 1998), Festival Chopin de Valldemossa (Mallorca 1998), Festival Internacional de Música Contemporánea de Bogotá (Colombia 1999), etc.
She has made many recordings for the radio of the Spanish national broadcasting company (RNE), Catalunya Ràdio, Catalunya Música, the Catalan broadcasting company (TV3), RNE's TV1 and TV2, and Südwest Rundfunk among others.
