(Introduction to the Keyboard 2) Through the study of fourteen pieces (exrcises, traditional songs and short works by well-known authors) the following topics of theory and practical application are presented: accidentals (sharps, flats and naturals); chromatic notes; rhythm (dotted crotchet-quaver); memorizing different placements for the left hand; minor mode; dissonance; the technique of crossing over the thumb to change position; accidentals; key signatures; G minor scale; intervals in swing; interpretation: adequate timing and phrasing; swing interpretation; accompaniment with automatic rhythm; D major scale; tied notes in the left hand; minuet; effect of accidentals witin the same bar; movement in thirds in the right hand; five-note scale; figured bass; chord system with only one finger; small movements of counterpoint; negro-spirituals; abbreviated repetitions; waltz; interpreting rubato; time signature 6/8; repeated notes in the right hand.
