Contents

This new guitar method book is aimed at both beginners and advanced students who would like to know more about the acoustic guitar in general as it is used in the folk music world and then deals with the bluegrass style in greater detail.
Here we deal with different aspects of bluegrass guitar tradition: overall features, repertory, accompaniments, chord inversions, alternate harmonies, learning how to improvise, scales, arpeggios, as well as several important techniques such as flat-picking, cross-picking and the Carter family style.
A 99 track CD lets you hear the examples. All the exercises are written in standard notation and tablature.
