Trio for clarinet (or soprano saxophone), bassoon (or bass clarinet, violoncelle, or saxophone) and piano.
Ara (Now). Heading the score of this trio for two melodic instruments and piano appears the motto 'Ara és l'hora favorable, ara és el dia de la salvació'', which belongs to the second epistle of Saint Paul to the Colossians (2 Co; 6:2). This text, which stresses the importance of the present moment, gave me the inspiration to a piece, written in 2005 and looked through two years later, in which some brief themes interact with each other using an allegoric language.
