(Two Early Dances)
The composer has written two versions of this work, the other being for any wind instrument in C, B-flat or F with piano accompaniment. Both are reasonably accessible in technical terms.
These two dances seek to recall certain sound characteristics of the pretonal period, in that their musical language evokes the harmonic features of archaic models.
