This magnificat is written for high voices, for either childrens' or womens' choir. With the high femenine voices, the Magnificat prayer of the Mother Mary is treated from what I imagined was her point of view. The brass instruments, organ, piano (which can be substituted by harp) and percussion provide the weight and contrast to the young femenine choir.
