This second collection of children's songs produced for the Cabirol choir contains works for one or more voices, some with accompaniments for the piano or other instruments, and is intended to add to the body of publications for children's choirs, as well as school groups, extra-curricular gatherings etc. in our land, and are highly educational, approachable and varied in nature.
Of the five theme blocks in the contents, the one devoted to 'Catalan musicians and poets' brings together a group of songs that will certainly acquaint the singers with, and kindle love for, the words of some of our most important poets, and it also affords the chance to perform music expressly written by musicians of our own time.
