Da camera 16: 'Saxdana'
For four similars saxophones
It refers to a 'sardana' (traditional dance from Catalonia) for four saxophones that is the product of another of my 'sardanas' called 'Estel d'argent' (Silver star). Knowing that has to be interpreted by beginning musicians, it was not possible to transcribe all the short- and long-step rhythms nor of course the full instrumentation. I have chosen the main theme, wich appears ahead (later). I believe that, for yhe beginner musician, this 'sardana' will be a good first contact with this kind of genre.
