Five divertimentos for little flutist

This work was written in response to a request from the flute teachers at Conservatori Superior Municipal de Música de Barcelona (C.S.M.M.B.), who wished to enrich the repertoire for this instrument with pieces that were not too difficult but that nonetheless featured a comprehensible, present-day musical language.
The five pieces are written in dance rhythms (habanera, ragtime etc.) with tonal harmony, though treated with a certain sense of humour.
