On the occasion of the celebration of the Gaiters de l'Aguilot's 15 years of history, we wanted to produce the first book on repertoire for flageolet and percussion belonging to the dances of the bestiari of Tortosa.
In this book you will find ancient tunes and melodies as the Dansa de la Cucafera [Dance of the Cucafera] or the Danses del Garrofer [Dances of the Carob], as well as modern and traditional dances belonging to the popular culture of Tortosa as the Ball de l'Àguila [Dance of the Eagle] and the Ball de cavallets [Dance of the Little Horses]. Many of these pieces have been obtained thanks to the composition competition for flageolet and percussion 'Jaume Blanch', which we promote at the Associació Cultural 4 más 1.
