He was born in 1974 in Amposta, where he started his music studies at the Unió Filharmònica, joining the music band of which he is still a member in 1985.
He started out studying the saxophone, on which he graduated from the Conservator Professional de Música de Tarragona, later taking the Higher Studies at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona, where he was awarded the Premi d'Honor.
Alongside those studies, and after completing his elementary-level studies on the saxophone, he began studying the piano, and pursued it through all the levels of the Conservator professional de música in Tortosa. He has attended various courses on performance, for both the saxophone and the piano, with prominent musicians from Spain and from other countries, such as Pere Iturralde, Adolf Ventas, Albert Julià and Christophe Bois for the saxophone, and Liliana Mafiote and Cristina Navajas for the piano.
He has been a member of various instrumental groups such as the Saxofilia quartet, the Entropia quartet, the Academic Big Band of Tortosa and the Ensemble de saxófons of the Barcelona music school.
He is currently teaching at the music school of the Alianza music association of Vinaròs and the UnióFilarmónica of Amposta, and he directs the school and conducts the band of the Masdenverge Unió Musical and the Coral Masdenverge.
Composition is another noteworthy facet of his, he having produced a series of works in different styles that have been given their first performances by various music groups such as the Unió Filarmónica d'Amposta, and the music band Ginesta of Ginestar, as well as chamber groups. The year 2002 also saw the first performance of his El Castell Negre, a musical-drama work that was put on at the Teatre Metropol in Tarragona by the Canteatre company, and his saxophone work Com el temps, which was commissioned for performance at the second trobada de saxos de Catalunya. He also wrote, for Canteatre, the music that was to be used as the sound track for the theatre prize-giving event 'els millors' ('the best'), put on at the Teatre Metropol in Tarragona.
He was awarded the Premi Amposta in 1999 by the media and the Town Council of Amposta, this being a prize that is awarded every year to an Amposta citizen who has achieved distinction in culture or other fields.
