Moon’s Images is a solo drum suite written in two stages. The initial stage incorporated the first two beats of piece I - Speedy Moon and II - Moody dance and was composed and debuted in 1999. In 2020 I completed it with the following beats:
III - Lunar cycle:
Waning Gibbous
Last quarter
Waning crescent
New moon
Crescent Waxing
First quarter
Waxing gibbous
IV - Full moon

The composition comprises components of the classical study of drum with a huge demand for technical resources, although it similarly includes sound fantasy and timbre elements with the use of differing sticks, particularly in beats III and IV.

The composition is dedicated to Santi Molas.
