- Piano: with Carlota Giró at the Acadèmia Vidiella (1942-57); with Mercedes Roldós at the Acadèmia Marshall(1957-63 ); at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu, graduated in 1967.
- Harmony: Acadèmia Vidiella, Conservatori del Liceu; with Manuel Oltra at the Conservatori Municipal de Barcelona and with Cristòfor Taltabull.
- Counterpoint: with Manuel Oltra and Francisco Calés Otero in Madrid, at the Conservatorio Real.
- Specialisation in early music: member of the Ars Musicae early music group, under Josep Maria Gispert Laman and Enric Gispert, as a player of harpsichord, chair organ, flute, lute and Alpenhorn / horn (from 1951 to1966).
- Harpsichord: with Joan Gibert Camins at the Conservatori Municipal (1956-61 ); with Genoveva Gálvez in Madrid (1966-67); with Edward Mattos in Madrid (1967-71); with Daniel Pinkham in Boston, Massachusetts,USA (summers of 1969 and 1971); studies of pitch, construction and restoration at workshop of harpsichord builder Frank Hubbard in Waltham, Massachusetts, USA (1971).
